Sri Lankan Tour
Day 1: Dec - Welcome to Sri Lakna
Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, You will be met by our Sanki Detour staff and English speaking Chauffeur Guide, and transfer to Kandy. En route visit the Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage. This elephant Orphanage is setup especially for Abandoned or injured baby elephants. They are reared here and are trained to become working animals. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see the animal's close-up. Check in to the hotel in Kandy.
In the evening city tour of Kandy. Visit the Temple of the Holy Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, the Gem Museum, and traditional batik-making factory. A stroll in the market place would also be interesting. Late evening experience a colorful cultural show where you can really taste the Sri Lankan culture.
Day 02: Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy. Thereafter continue your journey to NuwaraEliya. Witness the Ramboda water fall& en-route you can stop and enjoy a cup of Ceylon Tea while enjoying the spectacular scenery. Spend the evening relaxing in the cool climate.
NuwaraEliya is known as, Little England of Sri Lanka. Is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around NuwaraEliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.Day 03: Nuwara Eliya – Kitulgala
After breakfast leave to Kitulgala. The trek to natural rock pools and waterfalls of kataran-Oya" -1.5KM. There are 7 natural pools which are extremely beautiful and a gift of nature where you will be able to experience Sliding down an inclined 05 meter water fall with safety gear in to the rock pool, A confidence jump with safety to beautiful natural rock pool and Swimming in the cool and clean waters of the rain forest
Experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by our white water rafting instructors beforehand. The distance covered is around 5 KMs.

Day 04: Kosgoda Turtle Hetchary – Madu Ganga Boat Ride - Hikkaduwa
After breakfast leave to Hikkaduwa en route visit Kosgoda turtle hetchary
The Turtle Care Centre at Kosgoda beach is one of 18 turtle hatcheries along the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Enjoy visiting the Kosgoda Turtle Care Centre.Get a chance to see sea turtles of various species in the different stages of their lives. Help feed the turtles or volunteer for a first-hand experience with these interesting creatures. Do your part in conservation by donating for the needs of the turtles.
Afterwards enjoy Madu Ganga Boat Ride. This one-hour tour takes you on a boat safari through the primitive depths of the mangrove marshes in Madu River. Traverse the dark and dangerous caverns formed by the thick mangrove forests; interspersed with bright open stretches of water. Learn more about mangroves and their positive effect on ecology. Get a chance to see crocodiles, water snakes, tree snakes and wild boars in their natural habitat. Watch the cormorants; storks and many other avianlife hunt for their prey in swift flow of Madu River.
Day 05 & 06: Hikkaduwa Watersports (Diving, Snorkeling, Surfing, Riding The Glass Boats & Sailing)
You can enjoy with watersports in Hikkaduwa,your tour guide will organize the watersports activities as per your wish and time for both days. The first area to be developed for tourism, this is still one of the most popular of our beach resorts. Hikkaduwa is famous for its coral and sub tropical fish. The reef, which runs parallel to the shore and is only a few metres below the water, can be explored with snorkel and fippers, or in a glass-bottomed boat. There are several wrecks in the area which offer interesting dives. With its impressive coral reefs and abundance of tropical fish, HIKKADUWA is recognised as one of the best places for Snorkelling and diving on the Southwest coast. Scuba equipment and the services of licensed instructions are on hire from PADI centers. A little further down the coast, there’s good surf for board or body-surfing. There is a generally a community of international surfers in and around Hikkaduwa.
The glass in the bottom allows you to see the ocean world through the crystal clear water of these beaches.
Day 07: Colombo City Tour – Departure
A melting pot of cultures and commerce, Colombo is a lively city with the most fascinating history. Ancient Arab sailors frequented these ports to trade with the Portuguese, Dutch and British colonists that occupied the city. Today, Colombo has something from everyone! Visit impressive cultural sights, Buddhist Temples and Hindu Kovils scattered throughout the city and experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity and customs of the people. Drive through the city's commercial centre known as the “Fort”, where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern hotels and office structures. Explore the vibrant markets and bazaars in Pettah. Discover the Museums and Art Centres with their fine collections of antiques, arts and crafts of Sri Lanka. Or indulge in shopping and tasting Sri Lankan delicacies.
After visit transfer back to the Bandaranaike International Airport.
